Fantastische Erfahrung: Ich war auf der Suche nach einer Wohnung auf Zeit. Nach kurzer Recherche habe ich das Unternehmen HC24 Aachen entdeckt und mir wurde nach einem freundlichen Telefonat kurzfristig eine passende schöne all inclusive Wohnung angeboten, die komplett möbliert ist und einen Highspeed-Internetzugang hat. Daraufhin wurde die Abwicklung umgehend erledigt. Ich habe noch nie so schnell eine Wohnung gehabt. Nun hatte sich beruflich der Zeitplan geändert, sodass die Wohnung nicht mehr vonnöten ist. Im Zuge dessen habe ich Frau Lungentras kontaktiert, um zu erfragen, ob es möglich ist den Mietvertrag zu widerrufen. Denn der Einzug wäre in einer Woche. Sie konnte die ungünstige Situation verstehen und hat dementsprechend schnell reagiert und den unterschriebenen Vertrag innerhalb wenigen Minuten aufgehoben. Vielen lieben Dank.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I had only good experience with the company. They helped to find fully furnished apartments, very clean, warm and full of air and light! It was not very easy I think as I was not alone but with family and we looked for apartments when still were in other country. They tried to support us after our attendance to the apartments and in case of any questions they resolved them as soon as possible. They are real professionals! Highly recommended!

Negative Erfahrung: Ich habe von Frau Lungstras eine Wohnung für den Zeitraum Sept 2019 bis Nov 2019 vermittelt bekommen. Der Kontakt vor dem Vertragsabschluss war sehr gut. Nachdem ich den Vertrag unterschrieben und die Wohnung bezogen habe, gab es trotz mehrfacher Beschwerde (telefonisch und schriftlich) kaum Betreuung oder Rückmeldung von Frau Lungstras oder Home Company. Die Wohnung wurde in einem dreckigen Zustand übergeben (Haare an der Kloschüssel, dreckige Dusche, dreckiger Bügeltisch, keine konstante Warmwasserversorgung, etc.). Die Beschwerde habe ich direkt an Frau Lungstras weitergeleitet, ebenfalls mit der Bitte, diese Beschwerden an die Vermieterin weiterzuleiten. Selbst nach 3 Monaten habe ich keine Antwort bekommen. Beim Auszug hat der Hausmeister, Herr M. Breuer (hat hier übrigens eine TOP Rezension abgegeben) die Sauberkeit der Herdplatte bemängelt. Ich habe dies widersprochen und Beweisfotos aufgenommen. Herr Breuer hat daraufhin das Übergabeprotokoll und die Schlüssel direkt weggenommen, sodass ich mehr oder weniger zur Unterschrift genötigt wurde. Die Vermieterin hat mir die Herdreinigung natürlich von der Kaution abgezogen und als Beweis mir die Rechnung der Reinigung geschickt. Erstaunlicherweise hat der Hausmeister, Herr Breuer, die Rechnung ausgestellt! Insgesamt habe ich nicht den Eindruck, dass hier seriös gearbeitet wird! Ich kann diese Firma niemanden empfehlen!

Fantastische Erfahrung: The best destination for furnished apartments in Aachen -- especially if you are just starting in Germany. I worked with them for almost 4 years as a tenant in 2 different properties. They are fantastic! Given the amazing 6 week notice periods for most of their rental agreements and high demand, it will take a bit of patience before you find your ideal place. So visit their site regularly and do not hesitate to ask them if they know of any new properties freeing up soon. They will probably contact you once they have something available that fits your preferences. Highly recommended!

Fantastische Erfahrung: I saw that the reviews of HomeCompany Aachen on Google are not doing justice to the high quality services they are offering. I believe the satisfied clients don't bother to write reviews and only the few who might have had bad experience took the pain of writing reviews. So, I thought I should also share my experience. HomeCompany Aachen did a fantastic job in helping me find an apartment per my needs. They responded very quickly and showed me a lot many options in the very first meeting. They gave all the fine details of the apartment and didn't try to hide anything for the sake of quickly finding a tenant. They themselves arranged meetings with the landord/landlady and escorted me for apartment viewings. As the apartment I chose didn't have internet installed, they themselves took care of the entire installation process. They contacted the internet provider company and sought appointments for installation on my behalf. Despite the lacklustre response form the internet provider, they took care of everything not giving any opportunity for me to worry. As I was out of the city, they themselves supervised the installation in my absence. Of course, I had given them permission in advance to enter my apartment :) Few days ago, one of the key of the apartment got broke by me and they arranged the replacement key within few days without me even asking for it. Overall, the entire process was very smooth and comfortable. I thank Mr. Alev and his entire team from the bottom of my heart for helping me settle down to a new city so easily.

Negative Erfahrung: Sind die Preise legal? Halt das Gesetz: Max 10% überm örtlichen Mietspiegel nicht Deutschlandweit?

Negative Erfahrung: They are friendly and helpful when you move to the apartment and try to make everything smooth. But when some problems appear with the landlord, they are in general going to be on the side of the landlord, because he/she is their real client. In addition, after you have settled down in your apartment they are not helpful at all and they behave annoyed any time you call them (even if that happens only once or twice a year). You pay them a big amount of money in the form of "Provision" (commission) and you expect to get some service in return. They promised to help in the communication with the landlord, and claimed to be a link between the tenants and the landlords. But they weren't. In my case, they did not want to contact the landlord for me and were always annoyed when I asked them to do it. Or even worse, sometimes they promised to call the landlord and never did it. And they always told me it should be me contacting the landlord not them. So if you don't speak German and you think they are going to contact the landlord for you, don't count on it. I think that should be the very basic service that they should do for the expensive "Provision" that they charge you. If you rent through them, but you still have to solve all the problems directly with the landlord, then it is better to rent privately and save yourself the money of the "Provision". In addition, they include some paragraphs in the contracts that are not legally valid. For example, in my case there was a paragraph that said that when I moved out I had to pay 100 euros for the cleaning of the apartment (to mention just one). I assume they include this paragraph to benefit from the ignorance of the tenant. So if the tenant does not know that the paragraph is not valid, he/she will simply pay the 100 euros because it is in the contract. It does not matter whether you signed it or not: that paragraph was simply not valid in my case (according to the lawyers of the Mieterschutzverein). Of course, the apartment has to be very thoroughly cleaned when you move out. But this can be done by the tenants themselves and then a professional cleaning does not have to be paid by the them. In any case, I am not arguing here whether it is good or bad to have the apartment cleaned by a professional after each tenant. I am just saying that the paragraph in the contract is not legally valid. And I must say my apartment was dirty when I moved in. Including rotten food at the borders of the sink, food remains stuck to the cooking accessories, fungus on the walls, etc. For sure, it had not been professionally cleaned. When I informed HomeCompany, before moving out, that I would not pay those 100 euros and that I would claim them back in case they were taken from my deposit, they "advised" me not to do that "because the landlord had a very good legal insurance". Advising somebody not to claim their rights just because the other part "has a very good insurance" is a terrible advise. Justice should be above that. In the end, they didn't ask me to pay these 100 euros, but the point here is that their contracts can contain legally invalid paragraphs and therefore, you should inform yourself about your rights and obligations. The cleaning fee is only one example. So my advice: 1- Avoid HomeCompany. They are not professional and you don't need to pay such a high "Provision" for nothing. 2- If you cannot avoid it for any reason, I would recommend you to get legal advise on the contract even after having signed it, because some paragraphs might be against your rights and therefore not be valid in any case. 3- Take detailed pictures and evidences of the status of the apartment when you move in and out, because, in my case, they did not have problems with lying about it to benefit the landlord (luckily I did have pictures).

Negative Erfahrung: they are nice but after they rent the flat they do not care about you and your problems.
